St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Department WIC provides special foods and nutrition education to pregnant and breastfeeding women, and to infants and children up to age five. To receive benefits you must have a nutritional and/or a health need and your income must fall within certain guidelines. Many people are employed and still qualify for WIC.
