Mission Statement

Demonstrate that a well-coordinated, cost-effective program can provide coverage for basic health care and wellness services for uninsured employees of small businesses.

Vision Statement

By 2011, HealthShare has:

  • Demonstrated that a community-based health care coverage model is a viable means for expanding health coverage to employees of small businesses who were previously uninsured.
  • Increased the number of people employed in small businesses who have health coverage.
  • Engaged members in effectively managing their health care and improving their overall health status.
  • Improved members' overall health status.
